| Lecture: Virtual Reality and the Plastic Surgeon | |||
| Computer technology is becoming more prevalent inthe operating room. Advanced imaging, haptics, instrument tracking/navigation, and robotics can change the way we do surgery. A brief summary of the basics will be followed by a description of the available systems and their potential for being used in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Some early work on robotic surgery in plastic surgery will be presented. | |||
